An Epicactus is an epiphytic (tree-dwelling) cactus, native to the tropical rain forests of Central and South America. They are tree-climbing plants and send out roots to secure themselves by their roots to their host tree, through long strappy growth called 'cladodes'.

Most original epiphyllum species were cream or white in colour. Cross pollination by growers over the last 200 years has produced the many thousands of the wonderful, colourful varieties we see today.

Tropical Treasure is a Bendigo-based grower of Australian and International epiphyllum and aporophyllum hybrids.

We have approximately 400 hybrid varieties and can provide you with fresh unrooted cuttings, rooted cuttings and small plants. The vast majority of our hybrids are varieties registered with the ESA (Epiphyllum Society of America - the worlwide body responsible for registration)

• Unrooted cuttings are at least 25cm in length (10 inches)

• Rooted cuttings are sent with a root ball in potting mix

• Small Plants are sent in the pots

Whilst we have less than 100 epicactus hybrids advertised on our site, we have many hundreds more that we are just waiting to flower so we can promote and make them available to you.

Be assured that we will only sell plant material that we know is correct.

Our product selection includes plants from some of Australian best known hybridisers including the LIBERTY collection by Joyce Carr, the ULANA collection by Tony Hanson and the ROSSMORE collection by Des Ellery. We also have some of the fabulous hybrids from Steve Pincott and many others.

I would like to think that all my cuttings are perfect, but that is beyond the realms of reality!

Having supplied over 1000 cuttings, the Laws of Probability say it is inevitable that something I have sent someone either rots, dies or is simply not correct.

If that is the case, I sincerely apologise and will do everything I can do to make it right for you!

1. If your cutting rots or dies within 3 months, I will replace it Free of Charge.

2. If your cutting flowers wrongly, I will ..

Tropical Treasure also offer packets of seeds which we have harvested from fertilised crosses in our own garden. Now, you can create your own unique varieties of epicactus with our packets of 100 seeds!

We include full instructions for how to grow your own unique epiphyllum hybrids!

We will ship your order within 2 working days by EXPRESS POST and provide you the tracking number.

We ship by Australia Post only on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday, so your package is not held up over the weekend sitting in a post office.

We include full instructions on how to plant your cutting, rooted cutting or small plant when you receive your EpiMail.

Our EXPRESS POST Fee is a FLAT FEE of $16 per delivery.
